Each build is individually designed and fabricated using a combination of digital design, precision machining, and traditional hand-building/modeling techniques. These pieces are not mass-produced — they are 1 of 1 custom creations.
What a Commission Includes
Every commissioned build includes a fully customized diecast model (Hot Wheels or Matchbox) built specifically to match your vehicle.
Depending on the project, commissions may include:
• Custom designed and fabricated wheels
• 3D printed and scratch built components and details
• Custom decals and graphics designed and made specifically for your build
• Automotive-grade paint and finishing
• CNC machined components such metal brake rotors
• A custom walnut display enclosure with engraved build details.
Each build is carefully planned out and documented.
The Commission Process
Step 1 — Inquiry
Begin by sending details about your vehicle and the build you would like created to 164lukecustoms@gmail.com. Photos of the car and any important specifications are helpful.
Step 2 — Project Review
I review the vehicle specification and determine the best approach for recreating it at scale. Some builds require significant fabrication and design work depending on the vehicle.
Step 3 — Commission Approval
Once the project is approved, a 50% deposit is required for the commission to be accepted and placed into the schedule.
Step 4 — Fabrication
The model is constructed using a combination of custom fabricated parts, paintwork, and detailed finishing techniques.
Step 5 — Delivery
The completed model is carefully packaged in a custom display enclosure and shipped to you.
